The Journey

About Rochelle

My journey into dog training began with two very different dogs: Skye, a stubborn husky cross who was my greatest teacher, and Pugzly, my rescue pug. They taught me that no two dogs are the same, and training is never one-size-fits-all. This passion led me to leave my corporate job to help others navigate their own unique dog training challenges with patience, experience, and care.

If you’re based a little further out, don’t worry, I’m happy to travel beyond these areas upon request (a small additional travel fee may apply).

Your tailored home consultation takes place where we assess, guide, and start working hands-on with you and your dog.

Teddy is a large breed and we needed to address some behavioural issues that were causing our family stress. Rochelle came over three private sessions and the difference is remarkable. We booked our 4 month old Mini Schnauzer Reggie in to the class as he has been struggling with reactivity to other dogs, squirrels, pigeons, leaves, just about everything. They’re run by Rochelle, Suzana, and Tracy in a relaxed hall and quite a lot of fun. Krebs (our terrier) is doing fantastically well, and it’s really nice seeing all the dogs in the group improve week by week. Very reasonably priced for the overall experience and they are really good at focussing on each dog individually so doesn’t matter if you’re more or less advanced. Would really recommend!

I rescued a 6mth old XL Bully X Cane Corso just before the ban, who had hardly ever been walked & had no training whatsoever. My little jack Russell was really struggling with separation anxiety, and it was heartbreaking to see how distressed she became whenever we had to leave the house. From our very first session, it was clear we were working with someone who truly understands dogs, their emotions, and their individual personalities. The approach was calm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Everything was explained clearly, and the training plan was tailored specifically to our Jack Russell’s needs rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.
