General FAQ’s

Who is your trainer?

Rochelle Strooh is a certified graduate of the Canine Instructor Academy, with a solid background in obedience training and behaviour modification. Dedicated to CPD (Continued Professional Development), she regularly advances her skills through respected organisations such as the Dog Training College and No Bad Dogs.

Rochelle follows a balanced, relationship-focused approach rooted in clarity, fairness, and results. As a PRAMA trainer (Positive Reinforcement with Minimal Aversives), she believes in rewarding good choices while ensuring there are appropriate consequences for unwanted behaviours. Her methods are tailored, thoughtful, and designed to support both dog and owner in building lasting, respectful communication.

What is PRAMA training?

PRAMA stands for Positive Reinforcement and Minimal Aversives. This approach is primarily rooted in positive reinforcement—rewarding behaviours we want more of—while also recognising the value of fair and minimal consequences when boundaries are tested. Drawing from all four quadrants of operant conditioning, this method provides dogs with clear feedback, helping them make better choices while maintaining trust and understanding.

Where do you operate?

We proudly serve the Merton area, including Wimbledon Village, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, and surrounding neighbourhoods. Travel further afield is available on request and may incur an additional charge.

What payment methods do you accept?

We securely process payments via Monzo. All payments must be made in advance to secure your booking. Receipts are available on request.

What is your refund policy?

As a small business, we do not offer refunds. All sessions go ahead in all weather conditions. Only the trainer may cancel or reschedule in the event of severe illness or official weather warnings.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Absolutely! We support you through social media platforms, sharing tips, blogs, and newsletters. Rochelle is also available on WhatsApp for any questions and loves receiving updates on your progress.

Do you provide training reports?

Yes, for our 3-4 hour home consultations, we offer a detailed training report with video content to highlight key learning points. Please allow about a week for us to prepare this comprehensive report.

What's included in the 7-week foundation class?

Our foundation class, held on Monday or Thursday evenings, covers essential skills like loose lead walking, recall, and impulse control. Designed for all ages and breeds, including rehomed and rescue dogs, we help build confidence and teach life-saving commands.
